The petitioners are the defendants in the application under Section 17 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Securities Interest Act, 2002 pending before the Debts Recovery Tribunal (III), Kolkata being S.A. 372 of 2023. The petitioners are complaining that they are suffering an ad interim order passed in the said proceeding, as such, the delay in disposal of the said proceeding is causing hardship to them.

The petitioners are praying for a direction upon the learned Tribunal for expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

The Tribunal is requested to expedite the disposal of the S.A. 372 of 2023 and the application(s) thereto and in doing so shall not grant any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

C.O. 2057 of 2024 is accordingly disposed of without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
