1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

2. Learned counsel for the State in opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail has referred to the statement of two eye-witnesses recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C and the injury report.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary and having regard to the fact that the injury is described as grievous and the fact that the complainant and two eye-witnesses directly implicated the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the same is accordingly disposed of.

5. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
