The petitioner renews his prayer for bail which was rejected earlier by a co-ordinate Bench on February 16, 2024 in CRM (DB) 457 of 2024.

The petitioner says that he is in custody for ten months. Eight accused persons have been granted bail. Out of them, five have been named in the First Information Report. He stands on the same footing as those five persons. He claims parity. The State opposes the prayer.

Learned advocate for the State points out from the material on record that pursuant to the leading statement made by this petitioner the firearms and the ammunitions were recovered from the house of the petitioner. indiscriminately, injuring several persons including children. We have seen the statements of injured persons. In view of the incriminating material against the petitioner, we are not inclined to allow this application for bail, at this stage.

CRM (DB) 1773 of 2024 is dismissed.
