Mr. Subhendu Roy Chowdhury, Mr. Sandip Dinda ....for the petitioners The petitioner is aggrieved by alleged inaction on the part of the Domjur Police Station, Howrah in attending to a complaint against the private respondent.

It is submitted that the private respondent prevented the petitioners from enjoying their land. The Domjur Police Station has filed a report dated 15.02.2023, which is kept with the record. The report indicates that proceedings under Sections 107 and 116 of the Cr. P.C. have been taken out. The dispute between the petitioners and the private respondent as regards the land is purely civil in nature.

The petitioners may take appropriate steps before the Civil Court in this regard.

The Domjur Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
