It is submitted by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that she is in jail with a suckling child. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses disclose role of the petitioner in the murder of the victim. Her bail prayer had been rejected earlier.

In view of gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein and as her prayer for bail was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as earlier as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
