Mr. Pratick Bose ...For the State It appears that the charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner under Sections 498A/323/325/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, read with Section 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, in connection with G.R. Case No. 1423 of 2019, pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chanchal, Malda. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that, a warrant of arrest has been issued against the petitioner since the petitioner was absconding. It has further been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that, the petitioner is ready and willing to appear before the learned Magistrate in the Court below on any date that may be specified by this Court. In that view of the matter, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the petitioner to surrender before the learned Magistrate in the Court below within a period of four weeks from date. The warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner shall remain stayed for a period of four weeks from date. If the petitioner

surrenders within four weeks, the learned Magistrate shall consider his bail prayer in accordance with law. If the petitioner fails to appear before the learned Magistrate in compliance with this order, the warrant of arrest issued by the learned Magistrate will automatically revive and the learned Magistrate will be at liberty to execute the warrant of arrest.

Accordingly, CRR 1903 of 2021 is disposed of. All parties shall act upon the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
