Mr. Ranjit Rajak ... for the State - Respondent(s) Re The petitioners submitted a representation to the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) on 15.02.2024 in reference to Anandapur P.S. Case No.

177 of 2023. The same was pursuant to the frustration of the petitioners.

However, so far as the progress of the investigation is concerned, on an assessment of the records, it reflects that more than 17 months have passed since the representation was furnished before the superior officer of police.

In case, till date, chargesheet/Final Report has not been submitted,

the petitioners will file an application before the jurisdictional Magistrate and the jurisdictional Magistrate would take steps in accordance with law.

In the alternative, if the chargesheet has been submitted and the defacto-complaiant is aggrieved by the outcome, the defacto-complainant/petitioners be allowed to take steps in accordance with law for ventilating their grievances.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15349 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
