The contention of the petitioners in the writ petition is that their land was acquired by the Staterespondents but no compensation was paid to them. The report in the form of affidavit on behalf of the Staterespondents demonstrates that compensation was paid to the predecessor in interest of the petitioners. That the awardees who received payment of compensation are the predecessor in interest of the petitioners has been admitted by the petitioners.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.
