The petitioners are the defendants of the Title Suit no. 840 of 2018 and plaintiffs of the Title Suit no.875 of 2018. The 6th Court of learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Howrah is hearing the said two suits analogously. The plaintiffs of Title Suit no. 840 of 2018 have filed an application under Order VI Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure. The petitioners are praying a direction upon the learned Trial Judge for expeditious disposal of the said application. It appears from the record that the said application was filed only on March 22, 2024, therefore, the direction as prayed for at this stage is not warranted.

The suits, however since have reached to the stage of peremtory hearing, the learned Trial Judge is requested to expedite the disposal of the said application.

C.O. 2062 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
