Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the incident took place between two groups of male members. The petitioner being a female, was falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the first information report, the statements of the injured recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code and to the injury report of the victim.

The petitioner is named as one of the persons involved in the incident in the first information report as also the statements of the injured recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (A) 3258 of 2022 is dismissed.
