Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Rejinagar Police Station Case No.82 of 2025 having been registered for investigation where there were serious accusation relating to bodily injury and also sexual harassment, no steps have been taken by the police authorities for tracing out the accused persons as the accused persons are roaming freely and they have been threatening the petitioner and his family members.

Mr. Basu, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State.

Having considered that the investigation of the case is in progress, police authorities would put in efforts to trace out the accused persons and also ensure that the life and liberty of the petitioner who

has set the law into motion is in no way jeopardized. In case any representation is made, police authorities would ensure that the petitioner and/or his family members do not feel insecure.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 14230 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
