Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that he would not pursue the prayer for bail as earlier there has been observations regarding the documents which were submitted before this Court by co-ordinate Benches. Learned advocate submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.04.2022. In view of the aforesaid, I direct the learned court to ensure regarding the supply of documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to the petitioner and take steps so that the trial of the case commences at an earlier date. The next date has been reported to be fixed on 28th June, 2023.

Learned court is directed to ensure that the compliance

regarding Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is completed on that date or within a week thereafter. Within a fortnight thereafter charges would be considered by the learned trial court and if the learned trial court is of the opinion that the trial should proceed in the instant case and in that event once in every 15 days a date should be fixed so that the trial can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. In view of the prayer so advanced, the bail application being CRM(SB) 118 of 2023 is dismissed.
