Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the police authorities did not take any steps pursuant to the information furnished with Memari Police Station.

Report has been submitted by the State which reflects that on the basis of the information furnished by petitioner no. 2 namely, Sajid Molla, Memari PS Case No. 485/25 dated 09.07.2025 has already been registered for investigation.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that the present case which has been initiated is a counter-case to the earlier case which has been initiated.

Having regard to the nature of the grievance which has been addressed, I am of the view since the police authorities have already registered a case, prima facie anxiety and agony of the petitioner is justified. So far as the other issues are concerned, petitioner and the private respondents would approach the jurisdictional civil court for appropriate relief.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 14223 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
