The petitioner is aggrieved that notwithstanding an order of status quo dated 2nd August, 2021 passed in Title Suit No. 26 of 2021 by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Purulia, the private respondents are continuing to violate the same.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner may apply before the Civil Court for police assistance to enforce the order of injunction and also complain of violation thereof by the private respondents. Upon production of the order of status quo subsisting as on date, the Inspector-in-charge, Jhalda Police Station shall ensure that such order of the Civil Judge is strictly complied with.

The Inspector-in-charge, Jhalda Police Station shall also comply with any other order that may be passed on them by the Civil Court in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
