Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of Case No. CN-455 of 2021 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court, Calcutta the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

Opposite parties shall not be prejudiced if an order for expeditious disposal of the matter is passed in their absence. Expeditious disposal of the matter shall in fact enure to the benefit of both the parties. This Court is informed that 13th August, 2024 has been fixed by the learned Trial Court for hearing of the application filed by the accused.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the revisional application is disposed of directing the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court, Calcutta to dispose of the case being Case No. CN-455 of 2021 pending before him as expeditiously as

possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the party, in accordance with law. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
