Mukherjee, Ms. Saheli Mukherjee ...For the Respondent Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 The petitioner served as a Demonstrator in North Calcutta Polytechnic College, Kolkata. She resigned from the said post with effect from September 13, 2013. In this petition she prays for release of her terminal benefits. It is not in dispute by the parties before this Court that the relevant Polytechnic College is run by the State. Since the petitioner is an ex-State Government employee, this writ petition being WPA 15151 of 2021 is dismissed as not maintainable before this Court.

The petitioner will be at liberty to approach the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal on the self-same cause of action.
