Having considered that the police authorities did not take any step, I direct the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) of the BNSS.

The learned Magistrate would assess whether the petitioner has been deceived and, thereafter, pass necessary directions as he/she deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15388 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
