Considering the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in which serious allegation has been made against the petitioner for extortion and blackmailing and having regard to the fact that the petitioner did not comply with the notice under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, we are not inclined to allow the prayer for anticipatory bail in favour of the present petitioner. 2.

CRM (A) 1955 of 2024 is rejected.
