The revisional application has been preferred praying for stay of proclamation in case being Harishchandrapure P.S. Case No.

19/2010 dated 16.01.2010 under Sections 341/326/307/379/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, being G.R. Case No. 182/2010 pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chanchal, Malda.

The petitioner submits that the proclamation may be stayed for a specified period so that the petitioner can surrender and pray for regular bail.

Considering the nature of relief prayed for, Ms. Puspita Saha, learned empanneled lawyer of the State present in Court, is appointed to represent the State of West Bengal in this case. Let her appointment be regularized by the appropriate authority. 4.

On hearing the learned counsels for the parties, the proclamation issued vide order dated 28.04.2025 be stayed for a period of 10 days from the date of this order. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court and pray for regular bail, which the learned trial Court shall consider in accordance with law.

In case the petitioner fails to surrender within the period as permitted, the order of stay shall stand automatically vacated

and the trial Court shall be at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case of the petitioner.

CRR 2749 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Application, if any, stands disposed of.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
