The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of Namkhana P.S.Case No. 09 dated 17.01.2024 having been registered for investigation, no effective steps were taken.

According to the petitioner, no attempts were made by the police authorities to trace out the accused persons.

The records of the case reflect that there was a long standing land

dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the manner in which the case has been advancing do not call for any interference by this Court.

I have considered the agony of the petitioner and I am of the view that, if till date, the police authorities have not concluded the investigation, the same be concluded preferably within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

In case, the investigation has been concluded and the petitioner is aggrieved regarding the outcome of the investigation, appropriate application be made before the jurisdictional court ventilating the grievances regarding the shortcomings of the investigation. The learned Magistrate would assess and ascertain the accusations, thereafter, pass

necessary directions as it deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15415 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
