Petitioner has approached this court since her representation dated 17.05.2024 was not responded by the Nagerbazar Police Staton.

Learned advocate for the State submits that pursuant to the information received Nagerbazar PS Case No. 169/2024 dated 18.06.2024 has been registered for investigation and the accused persons are presently on bail.

Learned advocate for the petitioner at this stage submitted that the representation of the petitioner was twofold. One relating to registration of FIR and secondly relating to restoration of residential right at the matrimonial home.

So far as the second prayer which has been advanced there is a specific provision under the PWDV Act, 2005. Petitioner if so advised will approach the jurisdictional Magistrate with specific prayers.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondents disputes the marriage having been solemnized. Other contentions have been raised by the learned advocate for the respondents which are disputed questions of facts.

Having considered that the preliminary grievance of the petitioner so far as the writ petition is concerned has been addressed, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly WPA 15437 of 2024 is disposed of.
