The petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the pending substitution application filed in connection with O.A. No.50 of 2020. The proceeding is pending before the West Bengal Land Reforms & Tenancy Tribunal, 3rd Bench, Bikash Bhawan, Salt Lake.

The prayer of the petitioner is innocuous. Neither party stands to lose if a proceeding is disposed of expeditiously. In fact, such expeditious disposal shall enure to the benefit of the parties. Hence, there is no requirement for service of prior notice upon the opposite parties.

This revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Tribunal to dispose of the substitution application within a month from the next date fixed and thereafter the learned Tribunal shall proceed expeditiously with the original application upon giving adequate opportunity to all the contesting parties, but

without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, strictly in accordance with law.

This court has not expressed any opinion either on the merits of the application. The learned Tribunal shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

A copy of the revisional application along with a server copy of this order be served upon the opposite parties and/or the learned advocate contesting the matter on behalf of the opposite parties in the learned Tribunal, within a week. 6.

Affidavit-of-service to be filed before the Court below.

The revisional application is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
