Petitioner is aggrieved because of the inaction of the police authorities and, as such, has approached this Court. According to the petitioner, the land was purchased from the private respondents. However, the said private respondents have created disturbance in peaceful enjoyment of the property by the petitioner.

Pantu Deb Roy, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on receipt of information proceedings have been drawn up under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The dispute which has been referred to by the petitioner is of the month of May, 2023, more than 22 months have passed since then. Accordingly,

I direct that if the petitioner faces further inconvenience he would approach the police authorities who would ensure in such circumstance that no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 14440 of 2023 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
