Petitioner seeks relaxation of the condition of bail granted on October 7, 2021.

Petitioner cites the medical condition of his child as one of the reason requiring the petitioner to leave the jurisdiction of local police station. The petitioner also cites the fact that the police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, the requirement of the petitioner to report to the Officer-in-Charge in the frequency as noted in such order should be relaxed.

Learned advocate appearing for the State relies upon a communication dated April 3, 2022, which be taken on record. The petitioner was granted bail by the order dated October 7, 2021. The petitioner was required to remain within the jurisdiction of the concerned police station and to report to the Officer-inCharge of the concerned police station once a fortnight until further orders.

In the event, any medical emergency arises in respect of his family members which is limited to himself, his wife and his son only, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional court for the purpose of obtaining prior permission to leave the local police station. The condition of bail requiring the petitioner to report

to the Officer-in-Charge once a fortnight until further orders is relaxed to once a month till the conclusion of the trial. All other conditions imposed by the order granting bail dated October 7, 2021 will remain the same Accordingly, the application being CRAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of.
