The petitioner earlier obtained an order dated December 17, 2024, from a Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPA 28463 of 2023 directing consideration of her representation dated September 13, 2023, alleging unauthorized construction by private respondent nos. 8 to 15. The said representation was directed to be considered by Harinbari Gram Panchayat, respondent no. 4.

In the instant writ petition, the petitioner submits that she has filed another representation before the MG-II Gram Panchayat, which is the appropriate Gram Panchayat for consideration of the grievance raised in the earlier writ petition.

Inadvertently, in WPA 28463 of 2023, it was mentioned that Harinbari Gram Panchayat was the concerned authority.

While this Court does not approve of the petitioner's failure to mention the relevant Gram Panchayat before the Coordinate Bench, for the ends of justice, respondent no. 7, MG-II Gram Panchayat, Mandirtala, Sagar, District - South 24 Parganas, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner appearing at page 19 of the writ petition, after giving an opportunity of hearing to respondent nos. 8 to 15, within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 14658 of 2025 stands disposed of.
