The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Contai Police Station in respect of a complaint dated 31st July, 2021.

The petitioner was assaulted by the private respondents. Contai Police has taken out proceeding under Section 107 of the Cr. P. C. against the private respondent nos. 5 and 6.

In respect of any further complaint from the petitioner against the private respondents, Contai Police shall respond immediately. Any request for protection by the petitioner may be considered in accordance with law.

Instructions of I. C., Contai Police Station dated 30.01.2023 is taken on record.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
