The petitioner submits that a time table has also been issued in his favour by the State Transport Authority, West Bengal, and that he is operating his vehicle in strict adherence to the said time table.

It is alleged by the petitioner that respondent nos. 6 to 10 are illegally interfering with the operation of his vehicle. It is further submitted that if the petitioner is not allowed to ply his vehicle in accordance with the time table issued to him, he may face penal consequences under Section 86 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, however,

submits that upon enquiry, the police found that the petitioner had violated the time table issued by the State Transport Authority, West Bengal, while operating his vehicle.

Let the report filed by the State be kept with the records.

In view of the above, there is no justification for keeping this writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:

The State Transport Authority, West Bengal, shall ensure that the petitioner operates his vehicle strictly along the route indicated in the relevant permit and in accordance with the time schedule issued to him by the said authority.

It is made clear that the State Transport Authority, West Bengal, shall be at liberty to take appropriate action against the petitioner if he is found to have violated the terms and conditions of the permit or deviated from the approved time table. Likewise, respondent nos. 6 to 10 shall be dealt with in accordance with law if they are found to be illegally interfering with the petitioner's lawful operation of his vehicle.

Accordingly, WPA 14325 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
