Patra Ms. Supriya Dubey .......For the WBCSSC Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya ......For the WBBSE The petitioner's grievance in this application is that all relevant papers along with application for general transfer on special ground of the petitioner, a clerk in a school were sent by the District Inspector of Schools (S. E.), South 24 Parganas to the Secretary, Department of School Education, Government of West Bengal on 15.10. 2020 but till date no steps has been taken by the Secretary.

This court directs the Secretary to take immediate steps in respect of the said transfer and if he is of the view that the appropriate authority in this respect is the Commissioner of School Education all the papers along with the application is to be sent to the Commissioner of School Education by the said Secretary within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order. If decision is to be taken by the Secretary himself, then the decision is to

be taken by four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Any decision, either by the Secretary or by the Commissioner will have to be communicated to the petitioner by two weeks from the date of such decision.

The matter is disposed of.
