Hossain ...for the Alleged contemnor Learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnor hands over a server copy of an order dated August 23, 2023 where the Division Bench, while disposing of an appeal against the parent order under contempt, allowed the appeal in part and, while setting aside the order under appeal, directed the Secretary, Law Department, Government of West Bengal to take into consideration the formation of the new Police Station and also the relevant rules for the purpose of creating either a permanent or a temporary post of MMR. The other direction to consider the representation of the writ petitioner also stood set aside.

In such view of the matter, the contempt application cannot subsist.

Accordingly, C.P.A.N. 830 of 2023 is disposed of without, however, any order as to costs.
