Having regard to the fact that the investigation commenced on or about 28.09.2023 and more than one and half years have passed as is revealed from the report submitted by Mr. Ahmed, learned advocate for the State, I direct that the petitioners would take out an application before the learned Magistrate, in case, charge-sheet and/or Final Report till date has not been submitted.

The learned Magistrate on receipt

of such application would ensure that if the charge-sheet has not been submitted, the same would be submitted within a period of three months.

In case, the Final Report is submitted, a notice be issued to the petitioners so that appropriate steps under the relevant provisions of law be taken recourse to by the defacto-complainants.

The learned Magistrate in both the cases would ensure that the provisions of law are adhered to.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15481 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
