Mr. Samrat Paul ... for the State - Respondent(s) The petitioners approached this Court as their complaint which was addressed to the Inspector-in-charge of Nabadwip Police Station was not taken into consideration.

The petitioners further complain that inspite of reminders being sent, no steps were taken.

Having regard to the fact that such informations were sent on or about May, 2024 and, more than one year has passed since then, I direct that the petitioners would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under the relevant provisions of law for addressing their grievances. The

learned Magistrate would assess as also ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations, thereafter, pass necessary directions as he/she deems fit and proper.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. Samrat Paul, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to appear on behalf of the State.

His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authority.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15488 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
