According to the petitioner his prayer was not considered in accordance with law. The petitioner, thereafter, made a representation before the District Controller (Food and Supplies), Barasat, North 24 Parganas by a letter dated 2nd August, 2021 which was received by the office of the District Controller (Food and Supplies) on 10th August, 2021. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the District Controller for consideration of the representation. Heard the submission made on behalf of the State respondents.
After hearing the parties the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 3 being the District Controller (Food and Supplies) to consider the representation made by the petitioner being Annexure P-13 at pages 42 and 43 of the writ petition strictly in accordance with law, at the earliest,
but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner and all points are left open to be decided by the said respondent at the time of consideration of the representation of the petitioner.
The District Controller (Food and Supplies) shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner with all details immediately thereafter.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation received by the authority on 10th August, 2021 at the time of communicating the order of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
