The petitioner filed a complaint case before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at Baruipur, South 24-Parganas.

It is submitted that a Transfer Application No.01 of 2023 is pending along with Revision Petition No.79 of 2023 and 80 of 2023. All applications are pending before the learned State Consumer Disputes Redresssal Commission, West Bengal, Kolkata.

The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the abovementioned applications. An order of expeditious disposal of any litigation enures to the benefit of all the parties and hence prior service of this revisional application upon the opposite parties is not required. The prayer is innocuous.

Under such circumstances, the revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the West Bengal State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kolkata to dispose of the pending applications positively within a period of two months from the next date fixed, independently and strictly in accordance with law, upon granting adequate opportunity to the parties to contest the same. Unnecessary adjournments shall not be granted to any of the parties.

This order shall not be construed as an opinion of the Court on the merits of the pending applications. A copy of the revisional application, along with a server copy of this order, be served upon the opposite parties within a week.

The revisional application is, thus, disposed of. There will be, however, no order as to costs. Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
