In re : CRAN 1 of 2024 1.

The petitioner was granted bail by an order dated July 2, 2024, passed in CRM (DB) 1820 of 2024, inter alia, on the conditions that he shall reside outside the jurisdiction of Amherst Street Police Station and shall report to the Officer-in-Charge of jurisdictional police station where he would be residing, once in every week until further orders.

He says that he was initially residing under the jurisdiction of Haridebpur Police Station, when he was reporting to that police station. Presently, he is residing within the jurisdiction of Muchipara Police Station. He is reporting every week to the Officer-in-Charge of the Muchipara Police Station. He seeks relaxation of the

conditions of bail requiring him to stay outside the jurisdiction of Amherst Street Police Station and requiring him to report to the Officer-in-Charge of the jurisdiction police station.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions, says that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions of bail. However, it is too early to waive the condition restraining him from residing within the jurisdiction of Amherst Streect Police Station. The bail order was passed recently on July 2, 2024.

We agree with learned advocate for the State. We only modify the condition requiring the petitioner to report to the Officer-in-Charge of the jurisdictional police station which presently is the Muchipara Police Station by permitting him to meet the Officer-in-Charge of that police station once every month.

The other conditions of bail shall remain unaltered. 6.

CRAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of.
