1. In pursuance of the direction passed by this Court earlier dated 10.05.2024, both the appellant and the respondent are present before this Court today.
2. It is submitted by the parties to this appeal that the matter in dispute has been amicably settled long back outside the Court and is put to an end, as such, the present appellant does not intend to proceed further with this appeal. A petition to that effect is filed on behalf of the appellant; let it be kept with the record.
3. The present appeal is preferred at the behest of the appellant challenging the impugned judgment and order of acquittal passed by the Trial Court dated 29.06.2000 in Complaint Case No.147C/90.
4. I have gone through the impugned judgment and order and I find nothing to interfere with it.
5. The instant appeal being CRA 307 of 2000 is hereby dismissed affirming the impugned judgment and order passed by the Trial Court dated 29.06.2000.
6. Ms. Poulami Das, learned Advocate is requested to represent the appellant in this case. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned department.
7. The Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned Member Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, Calcutta.
8. Let a copy of this order along with the Trial Court Records be sent down to the Trial Court immediately.
