The report of the Superintendent of Siliguri Special Correctional Home dated 6th June, 2026 is considered by this Court.

It appears from the said report dated 6th June, 2026 that the sole appellant in the appeal, namely, Pradeep Pradhan @ Pradip Pradhan has died at the North Bengal Medial College and Hospital on 4th June, 2026. 3.

In that view of the matter, C.R.A. 356 of 2017 has become infructuous and the same is disposed of as such. Consequently, all pending applications shall also stand disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of necessary formalities.
