Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the Officer-in-Charge, Manicktala Police Station, no steps were taken by the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that petitioner was guarantor and as such, recovery of loan was pursued by Calcutta Mahila Cooperative Credit Society Limited. Police authorities have hardly any role to play in respect of the issues relating to recovery of loan. Be that as it may, I am of the view that more than one year has passed in the meantime. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any over action of the police authorities, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional court. Further interference of this Court is uncalled for.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 15561 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
