The District Magistrate, Planning Section, Purulia, shall treat the writ petition as a representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law upon giving a hearing to the petitioner No.1 and any other interested party and upon considering all the issues raised therein. The District Magistrate shall pass a final order with regard to the payment to be made to the petitioners upon verification of their eligibility.

It appears that the fund has already been released by the state government and is awaiting disbursal by the appropriate authority.

Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition save and except as

directed hereinabove. All the issues raised in the writ petition and the prayers made therein shall be decided by the authority. The entire exercise shall be completed within 8 weeks from date of communication of this order. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
