Petitioners seek anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners stand on the same footing as that of one of the co-accused who was granted anticipatory bail by the jurisdictional Court. He submits that the petitioners were falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents in the case diary. He submits that the petitioners were extorting money from people who are making constructions at the locality. Considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offences and the complicity of the petitioners, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

C.R.M. 6342 of 2021 is dismissed.
