The petitioner seeks regularization of appointment as Group 'D' staff in the office of the Inspector, Food & Supply, Ratua, Malda.

The service in question is under the direct control of the State Government.

The writ petition by the petitioner praying for regularization of his appointment cannot be entertained under Article 226 of the Constitution of India at this stage.

In view of the above, WPA 15434 of 2021 stands dismissed as not maintainable before this Court due to lack of jurisdiction.

Dismissal of the writ petition will however, not stand in the way of the petitioner from approaching the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievances. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
