The allegation of the petitioner is that she is not being permitted to file her nomination for contesting the Panchayat General Election, 2023.

It appears that the last date for filing the nomination was June 15, 2023.

According to the notification published by the State Election Commission the date for filing the nomination, scrutiny and also the date and time for withdrawal of the nomination is over.

At this delayed point of time the prayer of the petitioner for permitting her to submit her nomination cannot be accepted by the Court.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

It will, however, be open to the petitioner to seek remedy before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law, if so advised.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
