It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the private respondents have illegally and unauthorizedly carried out construction activities without any sanctioned building plan.

The State respondents are represented.

It is submitted on behalf of the State that the impugned construction has been stopped.

In view of the above, W.P.A. No. 14586 of 2023 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no. 7, being the Pradhan, Bano Hooghly-1 Gram Panchayat, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated May 18, 2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving notices to all the affected parties.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all points are left open to be decided by the respondent no. 7 strictly in accordance with law including passing necessary orders for demolition in accordance with law. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
