The allegation of the petitioner in this writ application is that though his transfer application has been sent by the headmaster to the District Inspector of Schools on 31.08.2021, till date no step has been taken either by the District Inspector of Schools or by the School Service Commission. He prays for a decision either from the District Inspector of Schools or from the Commission, as the case may be, before whom this transfer application is kept pending, and to take a decision within a reasonable period of time.

I direct the District Inspector of Schools to send the application to the Commission, if not already sent, and the Secretary of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission is also directed to look into the

matter and to take an appropriate decision and intimate the same to the concerned District Inspector of Schools and also to the petitioner within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the application or, if the application is already with the Commission, then from the date of service of a copy of this order.

With the above direction this writ application is disposed of.
