The petitioner is alleging that the private respondent nos.9 and 10 have encroached upon public land which is situated in front of his land, with the said allegation the petitioner has a pending representation dated June 11, 2025 before the Sub Divisional Officer, Haldia, District: Purba Medinipur, the respondent no.6 herein.

The said representation forms part of the writ petition being AnnexureP/2. The petitioner is praying disposal of the said representation.

The respondent no.6 is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner in terms of the provision of the West Bengal Public Land (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1962 as expeditiously as possible, after giving the petitioner, the private respondents and all concerned an opportunity of hearing.

WPA 14426 of 2025 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
