..... petitioner Mr. Sumanta Das .....For the petitioner Mr. Pratick Bose .....For the State This is an application for expeditious hearing of the N.D.P.S. Case No. 83 of 2018, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 1st Court (Special Court, N.D.P.S. Act) at Krishnagar, Nadia.

Mr. Pratick Bose, learned advocate, is requested to appear in this matter. Let his appointment be regularized. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody for more than three years.

It has been further submitted that out of twelve witnesses, only five witnesses have been examined so far. It cannot be expected that the learned Judge in the Court below, will proceed with the case at a normal pace in this pandemic situation.

However, keeping in mind the innocuous nature of the prayer, I dispose of this revisional application with a direction upon the learned Judge in the Court below to make an endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably

within a period of one year from the resumption of the normal functioning of the Court.

The application being CRR 1936 of 2021, is disposed of. All parties shall act upon the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
