The petitioner had participated in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2014 conducted by the West Bengal Board Primary Education under the Exempted Category. The petitioner is complaining that the result of the said Test has not yet been supplied to him till date. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that in response to the application of the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005, to know his result, the Board has informed the petitioner that the information sought for currently is not available with it.

Mr. Biswas, learned advocate for the Board submits that the O.M.R. Sheets of the candidates of TET 2014 have already been destroyed, besides the Board by a notice dated September 14, 2016, had invited applications from the interested candidates to get the copy of the respective O.M.R. Sheets within a specified time but the petitioner did

not respond to the said notice, as such the prayer of the petitioner cannot be considered.

The failure of the petitioner to respond to the said notice of the Board within time stipulated disentitles him to get the relief, as prayed for, W.P.A. 15600 of 2024 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
