Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the appellant in FAT 206 of 2017 as well as learned Counsel appearing for the appellant in the other set of appeals contend that the appellant in each of the matters seeks to produce certain additional evidence in connection with the appeal which might have germane bearing on the adjudication of the appeals. Accordingly, on the prayer of the appellant in all the matters, leave is granted to the appellant to file appropriate application under Order XLI Rule 27 of the Code of Civil Procedure annexing all relevant documents, with advance copy to the learned Advocates for the respondents in all the appeals. 2.

Such exercise shall be completed by April 23, 2025.

The Order XLI Rule 27 application, if and when filed, shall be taken up for hearing along with the appeals. Liberty to the appellant to mention the said application for inclusion in the list, as and when filed, to be tagged along with the appeals.

Learned Counsel for the parties further submit that certain documents which are part of the trial court records have been inadvertently omitted to be incorporated in the paper books. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to file the requisite number of supplementary paper books, incorporating all the omitted documents which were part of the trial court

records, upon prior consultation with the learned Advocate-on-record for the appellant in all the matters, on the next returnable date. Advance copies of such supplementary paper books shall also be circulated among the parties before the next date of hearing.

In view of the above predicament, despite the observation of the Hon'ble Supreme Court that the appeals are to be disposed of as expeditiously as possible, we are constrained to adjourn the appeals for being heard on April 30, 2025, when the appeals shall be listed together for hearing at 2.00 P.M. 6.

For the purpose of preparation of supplementary paper books, learned Advocates-onrecord for both sides are permitted to have an inspection of the trial court records as well as take notes from the said records, as necessary.
