1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and due to dispute regarding the common passage he has been falsely implicated.

2. Learned counsel for the de-facto complainant engaged by Calcutta High Court Legal Services Committee has submitted on instruction that she was pirated and ravished.

3. Learned counsel for the State in opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail has referred to the statement of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C read with the medical report.

4. Considering the materials available in the case diary and the statement of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C read with the medical report, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the same is accordingly disposed of.

6. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
