In spite of service no one appears for the respondents, other than the State respondents. Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that the hearing of the miscellaneous applications, which were filed for substitution of the heirs of the deceased original respondent no. 8 and for condonation of delay, were adjourned on several occasions and the same are fixed for hearing on January 18, 2022. Records reveal that the miscellaneous applications, have been filed sometimes in the year 2019 and the same are fixed for hearing on January 18, 2022.

C.O.L.R.T. 1 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the learned 4th Bench, West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy

Tribunal to take up the hearing of the miscellaneous applications on the next date fixed, i.e. on 18th January, 2022 and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the next date fixed.

After disposal of the miscellaneous applications, the learned Tribunal is requested to dispose of the Original Application No. 1102 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
