The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the proceeding of Special Case no. 3 of 2016 arising out of Raghunaghpur P.S. case no. 28 of 2012 dated 1st March, 2012 pending before the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, 2nd Court, Purulia.

Charge sheet has been submitted on 18th July, 2016. This Court is informed that out of forty-three charge sheeted witnesses, eleven have been examined.

In view of the above, the Additional Sessions Jude, 2nd Court, Purulia is directed to dispose of the matter within eighteen months from the next date for evidence fixed before him without granting unnecessary adjourned to any of the parties.

With the aforesaid directions, the application, being CRR 2383 of 2024 is disposed of.
